SIC Vol. 65 Kamen Rider OOO Tajadol Combo Part 1: Unboxing

Hiya! It’s me, Sako Debacle. Go ahead and grab some food and get comfortable~

Today we will be taking an in depth look at Bandai’s glorious Super Imaginative Chogokin Volume 65 release; Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDol!

For those of you who are new to the toy line, Super Imaginative Chogokin (S.I.C.) is a figure line dedicated to the production of highly stylized reimaginings of famous Shotaro Ishinomori characters, such as Kamen Rider and Kikaider, among others. The “Chogokin,” meaning die-cast metal, refers to the hints of metal they often use in their figures.

Without further delay, let’s review! First let’s discuss the packaging.

Fantastic Packaging all around. There is a nice asymmetrical design of the left and right sides using reflective gold foil and windows respectively.

But, my favorite part of the packaging isn’t the outer shell. Oh, what is it then?
The small of toxic plastic when you open the box? No, nothing like that…

THAT’S RIGHT! NO TWISTY TIES!
If you are like me and hate having to un-wind those nasty metal wires and can never decide whether to throw them away or keep them, then you will surely appreciate this tray and cover design.
For each tray, there is a snugly fitting top tray to keep all the pieces in their respective crevices. Some smaller pieces even have smaller molded plastic covers to keep those pieces at bay while you pull out the main figure or larger parts.
BRILLIANT!
